Samir Bendjedid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Souad Khadra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Ouadah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Grove Place's zone, Samir Bendjedid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Souad Khadra came out of the goal and Samir Bendjedid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Souad Khadra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samir Bendjedid, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Claypool FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adlène Diafat fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Ouadah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustapha Zéroual was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Claypool FC's goalkeeper Mustapha Zéroual had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adlène Diafat. Bendjedid Mansouri's late challenge caught a Grove Place's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bendjedid Mansouri helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Claypool FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bendjedid Mansouri hit a great ball. Claypool FC's Mustapha Zéroual proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Claypool FC from getting a goal against them. Noureddine Macias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Souad Khadra. Grove Place's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Claypool FC's Samir Bendjedid got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Fawzi Boumedienne notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grove Place's Souad Khadra. Souad Khadra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Adlène Diafat came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Grove Place fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adlène Diafat couldn't finish the play. Souad Khadra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Bendjedid in the 43rd minute of play.

The wind increased when Mohamed Ouadah made the kick off in the second half. Mustapha Zéroual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Ouadah in the 54th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Claypool FC got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Hindi. Grove Place's Souad Khadra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Grove Place from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Samir Bendjedid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grove Place's Adlène Diafat got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustapha Zéroual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Ouadah in the 69th minute of play. Fawzi Boumedienne struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Souad Khadra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Claypool FC. In the 77th minute, Samir Bendjedid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Souad Khadra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 93rdth minute of the game Mohamed Ouadah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Claypool FC's Mustapha Zéroual was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Claypool FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Claypool FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
