Mohamed Belloumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Smail Hamdani having to interfere. Bouabdellah Saci made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Yasmina Belloumi sent off a good shot on target. Smail Hamdani came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Chipley AFC's Halim Hamdoud. But to his dismay, Halim Hamdoud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Jean Kourichi came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chipley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Kourichi couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, Sunset AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tedj Khalef to maneuver through the defense. Jean Kourichi, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 34th minute Mohamed Belloumi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Smail Hamdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sunset AFC's Smail Hamdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Belloumi in the 35th minute of play. Ahmed Reda Benbitour hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Belloumi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Smail Hamdani saved Sunset AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Farid Morceli during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Farid Morceli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yasmina Belloumi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Bouabdellah Saci made a huge save. If Halim Hamdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halim Hamdoud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halim Hamdoud in the 57th minute of play forced Sunset AFC's goalkeeper Smail Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chipley AFC booed when Sunset AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larbi Al-Jazairia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Chipley AFC's Halim Hamdoud made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Smail Hamdani was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthar Benhamou in the 63rd minute of play forced Chipley AFC's goalkeeper Bouabdellah Saci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chipley AFC's Halim Hamdoud got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mimoun Ouid Toumi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halim Hamdoud in the 72nd minute of play forced Sunset AFC's goalkeeper Smail Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Belloumi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 73rd playminute. Bouabdellah Saci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthar Benhamou, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Tedj Khalef fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunset AFC's protests and gave Tedj Khalef a yellow card for diving instead. Tedj Khalef kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halim Hamdoud in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Smail Hamdani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute of the match, Mohamed Belloumi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Smail Hamdani was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Belloumi got free with Smail Hamdani in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Yasmina Belloumi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Halim Hamdoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chipley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Halim Hamdoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Smail Hamdani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
