In the 11thth minute of the game Boudjemaa Kermali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darby Township's Tayeb Al-Jazairia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rabah Bentaala made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ismael Seghiri sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Branson FC's goalkeeper Rabah Bentaala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Seghiri. When Chadli Megharia came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Darby Township fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chadli Megharia couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Darby Township booed when Branson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amar El-Kenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Branson FC's Rabah Bentaala got control of the ball when Ismael Seghiri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute Boudjemaa Kermali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Al-Jazairia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hemza Camus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Al-Jazairia having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Branson FC's Rabah Bentaala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chadli Megharia in the 58th minute of play. Darby Township's Ismael Seghiri got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Saïfi in the 65th minute of play forced Branson FC's goalkeeper Rabah Bentaala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ismael Seghiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Said Said kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Chadli Megharia came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Darby Township fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chadli Megharia couldn't finish the play. If Hemza Camus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tayeb Al-Jazairia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boudjemaa Kermali, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
