Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toufik Fadhil Mohamed started the match with the kick off. Chadli Megharia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meziane Aribi having to interfere. 6 minutes in the game, Toufik Fadhil Mohamed fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tayeb Al-Jazairia having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Channahon AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chadli Megharia came free, but Meziane Aribi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meziane Aribi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Seghiri in the 13th minute of the match. If Toufik Fadhil Mohamed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hamid Madouni fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darby Township's protests and gave Hamid Madouni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Darby Township was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Madouni to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Hamid Madouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Darby Township's zone, Toufik Fadhil Mohamed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Al-Jazairia came out of the goal and Toufik Fadhil Mohamed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Toufik Fadhil Mohamed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Al-Jazairia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 25th minute of the match Hamid Madouni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hamid Madouni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hamid Madouni kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Toufik Fadhil Mohamed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tayeb Al-Jazairia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Robert Matmour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toufik Fadhil Mohamed in the 36th minute of play forced Darby Township's goalkeeper Tayeb Al-Jazairia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Robert Matmour fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tayeb Al-Jazairia, passed just outside the right post. Tayeb Al-Jazairia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toufik Fadhil Mohamed in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Darby Township was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chadli Megharia to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Seghiri to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Channahon AFC's Abderrahmane Oussalah got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Channahon AFC defense, Ismael Seghiri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meziane Aribi. The Channahon AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meziane Aribi should have stopped the shot. Toufik Fadhil Mohamed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Channahon AFC's Meziane Aribi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Channahon AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 69th match minute, Channahon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Matmour to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Seghiri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Seghiri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Toufik Fadhil Mohamed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Channahon AFC's Boudjemaa Mouzaoui seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Boudjemaa Mouzaoui the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Channahon AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Boudjemaa Mouzaoui had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 84th minute, one of Channahon AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Channahon AFC. Ismael Seghiri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Meziane Aribi made a huge save. The Darby Township players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
