One of Arizona City FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bennington:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fodil Bouteflika, was totally fooled by Bennington's Khalida Bitat, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beloslav Popnikolov in the 35th minute of play forced Bennington's goalkeeper Kasdi Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco De Paula came free, but Kasdi Mansouri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bennington booed when Arizona City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beloslav Popnikolov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
