If Mohamed Temmam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. Pennsville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Temmam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Pennsville booed when Woodland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheb Kouidri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Woodland FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! In the 30th minute, Mohamed Temmam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Zīn ud-Dīn Arrache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pennsville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woodland FC the free kick. If Mohamed Temmam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Benamar Labi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play Pennsville's Zīn ud-Dīn Arrache was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 44 played minutes Pennsville got a freekick which was hit by Zīn ud-Dīn Arrache. If Ismaël Hadjar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Temmam was the one to do the kick off. Abd el Hamid Brahima hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Belmadi Daham sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pennsville's Benamar Labi didn't even have to move. Mohamed Temmam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benamar Labi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Temmam in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benamar Labi saved Pennsville from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Woodland FC's zone, Rachid Menad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelhamid Brahami came out of the goal and Rachid Menad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismaël Hadjar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Woodland FC's Mohamed Temmam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benamar Labi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Mohamed Temmam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Temmam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mokdad Amara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Brahami having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Rachid Menad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pennsville's Daniel Dahleb suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Abd al-Asis Zidane fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodland FC's protests and gave Abd al-Asis Zidane a yellow card for diving instead. Pennsville succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Woodland FC had controlled the match.
