Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) When Mehdi Belhagj came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Berkeley FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Belhagj couldn't finish the play. Ismaël Hadjadj came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Berkeley FC's Krim Bougherra. But to his dismay, Krim Bougherra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Hocine Saïdi-Sief managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berkeley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hocine Saïdi-Sief was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismaël Hadjadj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Berkeley FC's zone, Smail Aït Salem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sid Moussaoui came out of the goal and Smail Aït Salem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismaël Bitat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sid Moussaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sid Moussaoui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Smail Aït Salem in the 34th minute of the match. Krim Bougherra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Krim Bougherra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismaël Hadjadj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Edgecliff FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mehdi Mezair hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hocine Saïdi-Sief to strike the kick off in the second half. Smail Aït Salem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgecliff FC's Ismaël Hadjadj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Edgecliff FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Hocine Mammeri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slimane Brahimi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sid Moussaoui. Berkeley FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Saïdi-Sief in the 67th minute of play forced Edgecliff FC's goalkeeper Ismaël Hadjadj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Smail Aït Salem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute, Krim Bougherra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes Edgecliff FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismaël Bitat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Saïdi-Sief in the 78th minute of play forced Edgecliff FC's goalkeeper Ismaël Hadjadj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krim Bougherra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Ismaël Hadjadj when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismaël Bitat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sid Moussaoui having to make a save. Ismaël Bitat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sid Moussaoui having to interfere. Smail Aït Salem charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Smail Aït Salem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Edgecliff FC got a freekick which was hit by Smail Aït Salem. After a rather tough play, Edgecliff FC's Anther Kouici got a free kick in the 90th minute. With an all-out effort, Berkeley FC's Ismaël Hadjadj threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hocine Saïdi-Sief, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Smail Aït Salem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
