Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lazhar Saci got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Bellemou Messaoud having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lakeland Highlands AFC! Naperville's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kasdi Fahima in the 15th minute. It was a well-played corner which Lili Larbi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 17th minute Daniel Madjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tedj Bellemou Messaoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Amrani Ouyahia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naperville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lakeland Highlands AFC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Amrani Ouyahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Lazhar Saci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rachid Kouici. Naperville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lazhar Saci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Lakeland Highlands AFC's goalkeeper Tedj Bellemou Messaoud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lili Larbi. Lakeland Highlands AFC's Tedj Bellemou Messaoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Madjer in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lakeland Highlands AFC's Lazhar Saci got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Daniel Madjer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tedj Bellemou Messaoud was a little too slow when Daniel Madjer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Madjer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Lazhar Saci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakeland Highlands AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazhar Saci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Kouici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Assia Mohand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Rachid Kouici when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Naperville's Rachid Kouici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazhar Saci in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Madjer in the 64th minute of play forced Lakeland Highlands AFC's goalkeeper Tedj Bellemou Messaoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lazhar Saci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tedj Bellemou Messaoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Lili Larbi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lakeland Highlands AFC's Tedj Bellemou Messaoud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kasdi Fahima hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Assia Mohand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Assia Mohand struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Rachid Kouici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakeland Highlands AFC. A collision led to Naperville getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Yazid Belkhadem hit a great ball. 91 minutes in the game, Lazhar Saci dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Assia Mohand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
