Salt Lake City AFC's Lili Benflis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abdelhamid Zahouania in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Bellaire FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nadir Ahmed hit a great ball. Ahmed Radjef scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdelhamid Zahouania, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute of the match Abdelhamid Mihoubi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yacine Madjer skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Nadir Ahmed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellaire FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nadir Ahmed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Bellaire FC's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Zahouania had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmed Radjef. After 25 minutes, Souad Lacen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bellaire FC and the Salt Lake City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the match, Salt Lake City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cherif Hammad came free, but Yacine Madjer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cherif Hammad might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yacine Madjer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cherif Hammad ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Safy Kourichi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdelhamid Zahouania. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Cherif Hammad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellaire FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cherif Hammad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salt Lake City AFC's Yacine Madjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cherif Hammad in the 43rd minute of play. If Ahmed Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Safy Kourichi was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Salah Boukensa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fateh Khendu's late challenge caught a Salt Lake City AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fateh Khendu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bellaire FC's Fateh Khendu got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Safy Kourichi in the 69th minute of play forced Bellaire FC's goalkeeper Abdelhamid Zahouania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmed Radjef in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelhamid Zahouania saved Bellaire FC from getting behind. If Ahmed Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelhamid Zahouania took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Safy Kourichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cherif Hammad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Cherif Hammad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yacine Madjer. Salt Lake City AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cherif Hammad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 86 minutes into the match, Bellaire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mouloud Soltani came free, but Abdelhamid Zahouania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nadir Ahmed in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yacine Madjer saved Salt Lake City AFC from getting behind. If Cherif Hammad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salt Lake City AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
