Yacine Madjer came out of the goal and Charles Mammeri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But to his dismay, Kasdi Megharia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Mamaar Khaldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salt Lake City AFC the free kick. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Rangers FC! When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Salt Lake City AFC's Lili Benflis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jussef Labi. The Rangers FC's Jussef Labi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Safy Kourichi in the 33rd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Safy Kourichi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jussef Labi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salt Lake City AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
