Mountain Iron
Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1420, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abd el Azzizi-Kettab kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Hamid Oussalah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Mager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abd el Azzizi-Kettab in the 5th minute of play forced Cloverdale's goalkeeper Tayeb Madjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abd el Azzizi-Kettab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tayeb Madjer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Mountain Iron's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Oussalah came free, but Christian Mager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cloverdale's Hamid Oussalah in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 26th minute, Mebarek Djamel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Abd el Azzizi-Kettab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mountain Iron's supporters rose to their feet, but Abd el Azzizi-Kettab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayeb Madjer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abd el Azzizi-Kettab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tayeb Madjer having to make a save. Tayeb Madjer was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Horacio Eutor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horacio Eutor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tayeb Madjer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd el Azzizi-Kettab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mountain Iron's Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tayeb Madjer. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Abd el Azzizi-Kettab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mountain Iron's supporters rose to their feet, but Abd el Azzizi-Kettab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayeb Madjer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hamid Oussalah made the kick off in the second half. Mebarek Djamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mager having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Abd el Azzizi-Kettab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tayeb Madjer was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abd el Azzizi-Kettab in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayeb Madjer saved Cloverdale from getting behind. The Mountain Iron fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Mountain Iron's Abd el Azzizi-Kettab looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Safy Aarache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abd el Azzizi-Kettab blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tayeb Madjer having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cloverdale's zone, Safy Aarache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Madjer came out of the goal and Safy Aarache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abd el Azzizi-Kettab in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tayeb Madjer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horacio Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tayeb Madjer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Abd el Azzizi-Kettab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mountain Iron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abd el Azzizi-Kettab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tayeb Madjer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd el Azzizi-Kettab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tayeb Madjer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cloverdale's zone, Safy Aarache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Madjer came out of the goal and Safy Aarache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Safy Aarache struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tayeb Madjer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mountain Iron. Mountain Iron's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
