Spectators: 5600 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Black Star AFC's Maamar Brahimi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Madjid Adjani charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Madjid Adjani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 7 minutes into the match, Black Star AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Abdessalam came free, but Lakhdar Belaout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Samir Bougherra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Black Star AFC's Yazid Souakri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Smail Louahla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Maamar Brahimi made a precise shot to the right of Smail Louahla. Citizens FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Karim Abdessalam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lakhdar Belaout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Karim Messaoudi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Star AFC and the Citizens FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Citizens FC. Houari Fergani stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lakhdar Belaout. 1-2. Black Star AFC's Lakhdar Belaout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Black Star AFC from getting a goal against them. Lakhdar Belaout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Abdessalam in the 40th minute of the match. Karim Abdessalam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karim Abdessalam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Karim Abdessalam made the kick off in the second half. When Karim Abdessalam, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lakhdar Belaout was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Abderrachid Medjiba's late challenge caught a Black Star AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abderrachid Medjiba helped the player get up and apologised. Lakhdar Belaout didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karim Abdessalam went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute Karim Abdessalam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lakhdar Belaout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Karim Abdessalam came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Citizens FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Abdessalam couldn't finish the play. Abderrachid Medjiba kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Samir Bougherra struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lakhdar Belaout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Citizens FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samir Bougherra in the 82nd minute of play forced Black Star AFC's goalkeeper Lakhdar Belaout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lakhdar Belaout didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samir Bougherra went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Black Star AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kamel Nekkar hit a great ball. René Zaaboub's late challenge caught a Citizens FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. René Zaaboub helped the player get up and apologised. Lakhdar Belaout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Abdessalam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Citizens FC had won after a very even match.
