Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) Kotzebue FC's Abdelkader Khabatou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheikha Saadane in the 3rd minute of play. Meziane Djebar hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Colby FC booed when Kotzebue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meziane Djebar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mourad Moll, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kassel Khendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Baroudi having to interfere. If Mohamed Ben Ahmed Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdellah Medjadi Labi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samir Baroudi. Colby FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Colby FC's Cheikha Saadane in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kotzebue FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kotzebue FC's Abdellah Medjadi Labi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Samir Baroudi but with some difficulty. Abdelkader Khabatou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Bouteflika, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Rafik Bouteflika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelkader Khabatou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kassel Khendus short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Samir Baroudi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Abdelkader Khabatou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Bouteflika, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Samir Baroudi made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Mohamed Ben Ahmed Radjef sent off a good shot on target. Kassel Khendu might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samir Baroudi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kassel Khendu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kassel Khendu to make the kick off. Rafik Bouteflika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Colby FC's Rafik Bouteflika sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelkader Khabatou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samir Baroudi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kassel Khendu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Kassel Khendu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kotzebue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 91st minute, Mohamed Ben Ahmed Radjef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samir Baroudi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meziane Djebar in the 94th minute of the match. Mansour Banouas struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Abdelkader Khabatou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colby FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kotzebue FC had won after a very even match.
