Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fodil Banouas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Mohammed Ahmed Ben Baroudi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodil Banouas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cheb Tahar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Ben Ahmed Radjef in the 6th minute of play. Shinnston's Mourad Khalef was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Mourad Khalef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Radjef recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Radjef's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cheb Tahar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Abdelkader Khabatou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fodil Banouas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Shinnston's Fodil Banouas in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kotzebue FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fodil Banouas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdelkader Khabatou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fodil Banouas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Banouas in the 34th minute of play forced Kotzebue FC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Khabatou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fodil Banouas came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Shinnston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fodil Banouas couldn't finish the play. Fodil Banouas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shinnston's goalkeeper Cheb Tahar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kader Lelouch hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

58 minutes into the match, Mourad Khalef notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kotzebue FC's Abdelkader Khabatou. Abdelkader Khabatou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Fodil Banouas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelkader Khabatou. Kotzebue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fodil Banouas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Radjef in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cheb Tahar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 83 minutes into the match, Mourad Khalef had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelkader Khabatou. Kotzebue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mourad Khalef was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shinnston's goalkeeper Cheb Tahar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Fodil Banouas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shinnston's supporters rose to their feet, but Fodil Banouas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelkader Khabatou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mourad Khalef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelkader Khabatou having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shinnston had won after a very even match.
