Houari Schoonmaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem having to interfere. Chadli Maroc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Belmadi Adjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmadi Adjani in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 minutes of play, South Taft FC's Madhi Amri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehdi Mamouni was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of South Taft FC booed when Frontenac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmalek Sad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belmadi Adjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmadi Adjani in the 23rd minute of play. Mehdi Mamouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bendjedid Tlemcani in the 25th minute of play. Mehdi Mamouni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bendjedid Tlemcani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Bendjedid Tlemcani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehdi Mamouni. Frontenac's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bendjedid Tlemcani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 41st minute of the match Yahia Beloufa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehdi Mamouni skillfully saved the ball. Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chadli Maroc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belmadi Adjani was the one to do the kick off. If Houari Schoonmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmadi Adjani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, one of South Taft FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Abdelmalek Sad's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. South Taft FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Abdelmalek Sad scored to the left of an out of position Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem, making the score, 3-1. Belmadi Adjani struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontenac. Mehdi Mamouni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madhi Amri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Smail Khendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehdi Mamouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmadi Adjani in the 85th minute of play. Houari Schoonmaker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes, Belmadi Adjani made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. South Taft FC's Abdelnasser Karim Belkassem tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 98 minutes into the game, South Taft FC's Noureddine Hadjar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehdi Mamouni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The South Taft FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
