Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) Lakhdar Mérah-Benida started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheb Iles in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halim Azzizi-Kettab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hocine El-Kenz got free with Halim Azzizi-Kettab in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Wapakoneta's Halim Azzizi-Kettab threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cheb Iles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lakhdar Mérah-Benida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Abbas having to interfere. Frantz Zakaria's late challenge caught a Wapakoneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frantz Zakaria helped the player get up and apologised. Frantz Zakaria kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Frantz Zakaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halim Azzizi-Kettab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Iles, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Hocine El-Kenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wapakoneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hocine El-Kenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wapakoneta's Cheb Iles got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hocine El-Kenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Whitinsville got a freekick which was hit by Karim Sad. After 45 minutes, Daniel Madjer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Whitinsville and the Wapakoneta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Daniel Madjer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cheb Iles to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Cheb Iles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whitinsville's Halim Azzizi-Kettab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute, Hocine El-Kenz made a precise shot to the right of Halim Azzizi-Kettab. Whitinsville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Cheb Iles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Halim Azzizi-Kettab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halim Azzizi-Kettab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine El-Kenz in the 60th minute of play. Whitinsville's Halim Azzizi-Kettab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine El-Kenz in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Whitinsville's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Iles came free, but Halim Azzizi-Kettab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Whitinsville's Halim Azzizi-Kettab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Iles in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Whitinsville got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Madjer. Halim Azzizi-Kettab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheb Iles in the 68th minute of play. If Hocine El-Kenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Hocine El-Kenz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Halim Azzizi-Kettab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Hocine El-Kenz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Halim Azzizi-Kettab was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine El-Kenz in the 78th minute of play forced Whitinsville's goalkeeper Halim Azzizi-Kettab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Wapakoneta's Hocine El-Kenz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Halim Azzizi-Kettab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Cheb Iles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Azzizi-Kettab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Cheb Iles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Halim Azzizi-Kettab was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine El-Kenz in the 91st minute of play forced Whitinsville's goalkeeper Halim Azzizi-Kettab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yazid Abbas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakhdar Mérah-Benida in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Hocine El-Kenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Azzizi-Kettab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
