Fadel Beloufa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Bitat having to interfere. Nouara Zitouni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Kamel Amara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to McPherson AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. René Haddadj hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Khalida Kaci Said managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foster City's supporters rose to their feet, but Khalida Kaci Said was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdel Bitat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Tayeb Larfaoui fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kamel Amara, passed just outside the right post. Nouara Zitouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Amara having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anther Kourichi to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdel Bitat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kamel Amara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Fadel Beloufa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. Abdel Bitat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadel Beloufa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
