The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nouara Zitouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Madjid Boumedienne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, McPherson AFC's Anther Kourichi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Madjid Boumedienne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vienna's Madjid Boumedienne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anther Kourichi in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to McPherson AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Anther Kourichi hit a great ball. Madjid Boumedienne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nouara Zitouni in the 18th minute of the match. Vienna's Madjid Boumedienne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nouara Zitouni in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Vienna defense, Anther Kourichi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Madjid Boumedienne. The Vienna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Madjid Boumedienne should have stopped the shot. Tayeb Larfaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Anther Kourichi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Madjid Boumedienne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anther Kourichi in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, McPherson AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rafik Chedda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Vienna defense, Nouara Zitouni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Madjid Boumedienne. The Vienna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Madjid Boumedienne should have stopped the shot. Vienna's Rafik Chedda got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Vienna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. McPherson AFC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lakhdar Fadela was the one to do the kick off. Abdel Bitat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakhdar Fadela, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Vienna getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Said Kerbouche hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in McPherson AFC's zone, Lakhdar Fadela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Bitat came out of the goal and Lakhdar Fadela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lakhdar Fadela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafik Chedda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Abdel Bitat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafik Chedda struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Abdel Bitat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vienna. 85 minutes into the game, Vienna's Lakhdar Fadela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdel Bitat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. McPherson AFC's Anther Kourichi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Madjid Boumedienne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anther Kourichi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Vienna supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching McPherson AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for McPherson AFC.
