Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Van Buren's Rachid Harkouk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Abdelhamid Méniri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Van Buren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Harkouk in the 10th minute of play forced Grand Haven FC's goalkeeper Ferhat Kacha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sandu Cercelescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grand Haven FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Cercelescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamid Karim Belkassem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandu Cercelescu got free with Hamid Karim Belkassem in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferhat Kacha came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Van Buren's Rachid Harkouk. But to his dismay, Rachid Harkouk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, Rachid Harkouk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferhat Kacha. Grand Haven FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rachid Harkouk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 27 played minutes Grand Haven FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Merah. In the 30th match minute, Grand Haven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madjid Abdi to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Grand Haven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Harkouk came free, but Ferhat Kacha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Faouzi Sakhri rounded Van Buren's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. 41 minutes into the match, Grand Haven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zīn ud-Dīn Merzekane came free, but Ferhat Kacha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferhat Kacha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rachid Harkouk went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandu Cercelescu to make the kick off. Zīn ud-Dīn Merzekane kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Guillaume Laurent Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Sandu Cercelescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Van Buren's Hamid Karim Belkassem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Van Buren's Mohamed Ben Djura dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. In the 62ndth minute of the game Sandu Cercelescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Van Buren's Hamid Karim Belkassem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferhat Kacha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Merzekane in the 64th minute. Grand Haven FC's Ferhat Kacha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhamid Méniri in the 65th minute of play. Hamid Karim Belkassem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Cercelescu in the 67th minute of play. Sandu Cercelescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamid Karim Belkassem having to make a save. Madjid Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hamid Karim Belkassem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Grand Haven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Harkouk came free, but Ferhat Kacha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faouzi Sakhri struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Hamid Karim Belkassem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grand Haven FC. Ahmed Soltani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hamid Karim Belkassem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Grand Haven FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Grand Haven FC's Sandu Cercelescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Madjid Abdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hamid Karim Belkassem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madjid Abdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Karim Belkassem having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Van Buren's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Cercelescu came free, but Hamid Karim Belkassem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Grand Haven FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
