Cottleville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hameur Hamid Brahima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Chadli Fergani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Crosse's Halim Ighil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Noureddine Saïdi-Sief had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cottleville AFC's Mebarek Cohen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Cottleville AFC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Chadli Fergani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Halim Ighil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadli Fergani in the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Chadli Fergani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Halim Ighil. The goal made the score 1-2. 95 minutes into the match, La Crosse's goal looked a bit too open when Chadli Fergani came free, but Halim Ighil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chadli Fergani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cottleville AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
