A hard shot by Rabah Akrour from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Abdel Zenia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Abdel Zenia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rabah Achiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rabah Achiou to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ali Meskine sped through Palm Bay FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdel Zenia. After a rather tough play, Fort Lee's Nabil Bedjaoui got a free kick in the 69th minute. Jussef Ben Bellemou Messaoud hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fort Lee had played much better football throughout.
