Huntersville AFC's Rabah Mezdad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderrachid Menad in the 20th minute of play. Dida Bezzaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rabah Mezdad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabah Mezdad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abderrachid Menad went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustapha Saci in the 31st minute of play forced Huntersville AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Mezdad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Abderrachid Menad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Mezdad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rabah Mezdad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Bezzaz in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dida Bezzaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rabah Mezdad was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Bezzaz in the 36th minute of play forced Huntersville AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Mezdad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abderrachid Menad couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Huntersville AFC's Robert Matmour ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cheb Sifi. Cheb Sifi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abderrachid Menad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Huntersville AFC's Rabah Mezdad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Huntersville AFC from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes into the game, Bouabdellah Toumi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huntersville AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clintonville the free kick. After 52 played minutes Huntersville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bouabdellah Toumi. After a defensive mix-up in Huntersville AFC's zone, Dida Bezzaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Mezdad came out of the goal and Dida Bezzaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cheb Sifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Matmour, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Belaid Morceli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustapha Saci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rabah Mezdad came out and tried to block the shot, but Mustapha Saci slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes Clintonville got a freekick which was hit by Dida Bezzaz. In the 72nd minute, Dida Bezzaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rabah Mezdad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Saci, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Robert Matmour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Sifi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bouzid Timsit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rabah Mezdad made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Clintonville's Abderrachid Menad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rabah Mezdad. Rabah Mezdad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. Clintonville played a much better game than Huntersville AFC and deserved their victory. The Huntersville AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
