Nordine Assad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Farid Raho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Houari Sahraoui scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rabah Ziani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rabah Ziani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larbi El-Ouafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayeb Bedjaoui to make the kick off. Nordine Assad struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Farid Raho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timber Pines FC. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Larbi El-Ouafi took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Rabah Ziani to make any attempt to save it. Larbi El-Ouafi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. After a rather tough play, Timber Pines FC's Kateb Zahouania got a free kick in the 70th minute. Rabah Ziani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Aggoune in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Nordine Assad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Raho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timber Pines FC's Rabah Ziani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Timber Pines FC from getting a goal against them. Rabah Ziani made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ahmed Mezair sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karim Aggoune got free with Rabah Ziani in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, Brookhaven's Karim Aggoune nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rabah Ziani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brookhaven walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
