Abdelnasser Mezdad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larbi El-Ouafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Brookhaven's Larbi El-Ouafi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdelnasser Mezdad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismaïl Belfaa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Farid Raho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hewlett. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Karim Aggoune sped through Hewlett's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdelnasser Mezdad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafik Zoheir Boniche in the 22nd minute of play forced Brookhaven's goalkeeper Farid Raho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Larbi El-Ouafi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brookhaven's supporters rose to their feet, but Larbi El-Ouafi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelnasser Mezdad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Larbi El-Ouafi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelnasser Mezdad was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Brookhaven's zone, Rafik Zoheir Boniche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Raho came out of the goal and Rafik Zoheir Boniche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 played minutes Brookhaven got a freekick which was hit by Houari Sahraoui. Larbi El-Ouafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelnasser Mezdad having to interfere. Abdelnasser Mezdad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larbi El-Ouafi in the 74th minute of the match. When Brookhaven's Karim Aggoune in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hewlett's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the game, Larbi El-Ouafi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Abdelnasser Mezdad came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Brookhaven's Larbi El-Ouafi. But to his dismay, Larbi El-Ouafi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hewlett players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brookhaven.
