A collision led to Rockwood AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Chih Amara hit a great ball. Abd el Ibrir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Mérah-Benida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Rockwood AFC's Halim Kouri in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sansom FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 played minutes Sansom FC got a freekick which was hit by Farid Lacen. Sansom FC's Cheb Bruel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Mérah-Benida in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Abd el Ibrir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sansom FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abd el Ibrir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammed Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Albert Eberhardt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Sansom FC's Mohammed Morceli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Eberhardt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albert Eberhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Morceli in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Rockwood AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Bridji. Daniel Mérah-Benida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Bruel having to interfere.

The wind increased when Daniel Mérah-Benida made the kick off in the second half. Albert Eberhardt came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sansom FC's Mohammed Morceli. But to his dismay, Mohammed Morceli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Halim Kouri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockwood AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Halim Kouri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheb Bruel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rockwood AFC's Halim Kouri got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Halim Kouri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockwood AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Halim Kouri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheb Bruel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Mérah-Benida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cheb Bruel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Madjid Zafour made a precise shot to the right of Albert Eberhardt. Rockwood AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 92nd minute Abd el Ibrir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Eberhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rockwood AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sansom FC.
