The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamel Zeghdoud to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Toccoa getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. The supporters of Toccoa booed when Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bellemou Nabil didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cherif Djenia Lkbira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Fawzi Saadane in the 94th minute really tested Halim Hammad's skills. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Toccoa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
