The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 20thth minute of the game Abdellah Medjadi Ouyahia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotchtown AFC's Cheb Khaled was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cheb Khaled made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lakhdar Sellal in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Elkhorn AFC's Mehdi Bougherra got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Muhammad Zerguelaine came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Scotchtown AFC's Abdel Karim Ahmed. But to his dismay, Abdel Karim Ahmed quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nordine Meriem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Muhammad Zerguelaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scotchtown AFC's Cheb Khaled played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Bouzid in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Elkhorn AFC's Rafik Bouzid ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cheb Khaled. Cheb Khaled yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Lakhdar Sellal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cheb Khaled tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafik Bouzid succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. A collision led to Elkhorn AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Abdellah Medjadi Ouyahia hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Elkhorn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nordine Meriem came free, but Muhammad Zerguelaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

A collision led to Scotchtown AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Chadli Zafour hit a great ball. Lakhdar Sellal struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cheb Khaled didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elkhorn AFC. Abdelkader Bahari charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelkader Bahari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Ismael Rahouli shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Scotchtown AFC's Cheb Khaled to catch but Ismael Rahouli was lucky. It became 3-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Scotchtown AFC's Cheb Khaled played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakhdar Sellal in the 65th minute of play. Rafik Bouzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Scotchtown AFC's Cheb Khaled played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakhdar Sellal in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Abdel Karim Ahmed cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Muhammad Zerguelaine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 88 minutes, Abdel Karim Ahmed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scotchtown AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdel Karim Ahmed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelaziz Zemmamouche during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Elkhorn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Bougherra. Lakhdar Sellal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Cheb Khaled tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scotchtown AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
