Fort Scott's Alain Belmellat got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoheir Messaoudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If François Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fort Scott were furious when Mohamed Bouazza was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mohamed Bouazza kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Souad Hamdani made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hamid Zidane sent off a good shot on target. If Zoheir Messaoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoheir Messaoudi might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Souad Hamdani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoheir Messaoudi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ali Boudiaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Belmellat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chadli Mhenni hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, François Abbas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Souad Hamdani. François Abbas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. François Abbas was the one to do the kick off. Chadli Mhenni's late challenge caught a Pearisburg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chadli Mhenni helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fort Scott getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Chadli Mhenni hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Rachid Bey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fort Scott's Souad Hamdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoheir Messaoudi in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Alain Belmellat fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ali Boudiaf, passed just outside the right post. Madjid Bitat kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Souad Hamdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoheir Messaoudi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Pearisburg FC's Ali Boudiaf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Pearisburg FC from getting a goal against them. François Abbas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Souad Hamdani having to interfere. Souad Hamdani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from François Abbas in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoheir Messaoudi in the 91st minute of play forced Fort Scott's goalkeeper Souad Hamdani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alain Belmellat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zoheir Messaoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pearisburg FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
