Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karim Kharroubi to make the kick off. Jaspar Videslet might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thelma Belkhadem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaspar Videslet ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Village Green AFC's Gilles Lacen got a free kick in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaspar Videslet in the 93rd minute of play forced Village Green AFC's goalkeeper Thelma Belkhadem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Village Green AFC's Thelma Belkhadem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Kharroubi in the 95th minute of play.
