In the 10th minute, Yasmina Aboulker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamel Macias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Noureddine Belaout's late challenge caught a Glen Burnie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noureddine Belaout helped the player get up and apologised. Noureddine Belaout kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Hocine Piaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Labi in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Abdelaziz Brahimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Piaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Jean Labi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Glen Burnie's Hocine Piaf. Hocine Piaf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Glen Burnie's Kamel Macias threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lazhar Mansouri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abdelaziz Brahimi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Hocine Piaf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHCE. In the 42nd minute, Jean Labi made a precise shot to the right of Hocine Piaf. Glen Burnie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelaziz Brahimi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hocine Piaf saved Glen Burnie from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lazhar Mansouri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noureddine Belaout was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hocine Piaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houari Djamel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kamel Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazhar Mansouri in the 55th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Jean Labi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glen Burnie's Hocine Piaf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, FENERBAHCE's Jean Labi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 64th minute, Houari Djamel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glen Burnie's Hocine Piaf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Glen Burnie from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Glen Burnie's Tayeb Chadl got a free kick in the 67th minute. Abdelaziz Brahimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hocine Piaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hocine Piaf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean Labi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Lazhar Mansouri kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Abdelaziz Brahimi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jean Labi scored 1-5 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hocine Piaf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hocine Piaf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Labi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. FENERBAHCE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
