Jean Labi succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 5th minute, Ismaïl Ben Khalidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krim Bencherif was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Meziane Belhagj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Macias having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jean Labi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Redha Mansouri was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Mohamed in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamel Macias saved FENERBAHCE from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, FENERBAHCE's goal looked a bit too open when Meziane Belhagj came free, but Kamel Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FENERBAHCE's Kamel Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Mohamed in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Abdelaziz Brahimi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelaziz Brahimi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Redha Mansouri made a huge save. Meziane Belhagj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FENERBAHCE getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hocine Djebar hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in BABU TEAM's zone, Abdelaziz Brahimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Redha Mansouri came out of the goal and Abdelaziz Brahimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BABU TEAM's Redha Mansouri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save BABU TEAM from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Meziane Belhagj to strike the kick off in the second half. Tahar Soltani received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kamel Macias came out and tried to block the shot, but Tahar Soltani slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. When Meziane Belhagj came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the BABU TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meziane Belhagj couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Meziane Belhagj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kamel Macias was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Labi in the 66th minute of play forced BABU TEAM's goalkeeper Redha Mansouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Meziane Belhagj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BABU TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meziane Belhagj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FENERBAHCE fans cheered their team off the field, for while BABU TEAM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
