Spectators: 6711 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) Sid Ahmed Firoud made the kick off and thus started the match. Rachid Lemoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Camel Fahima made a huge save. In the 6th minute, Noureddine Harkouk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Liberty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The score was now 2-0. 34 minutes into the match, Liberty's Rachid Lemoui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camel Fahima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tayeb Zaaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Camel Fahima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Tayeb Zaaf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camel Fahima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tayeb Zaaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camel Fahima having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tayeb Zaaf made a kick off. The supporters of Nekoosa booed when Liberty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fateh Benyamina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Nekoosa's Mohamed Belmadi threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sid Ahmed Firoud, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th minute, Liberty's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sid Ahmed Firoud fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Camel Fahima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Aribi in the 71st minute of play. Tayeb Zaaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nekoosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liberty the free kick. In the 79th minute, one of Nekoosa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nekoosa. The referee gave Liberty a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mohamed Aribi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nekoosa's Camel Fahima. 5-1. Sid Ahmed Firoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Belmadi having to interfere. Maamar Méniri's late challenge caught a Liberty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maamar Méniri helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nekoosa's Maamar Méniri got a free kick in the 86th minute. Camel Fahima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rachid Lemoui in the 89th minute of the match. Nekoosa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
