In the 32nd minute, Karim Bentifour reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abd al-Aziz Saïfi. The goal made the score 1-0. Rachid Baba Ali Zeghdoud might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Smail Zitouni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rachid Baba Ali Zeghdoud ran back to his position shaking his head. Sid Harkouk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Abd al-Aziz Saïfi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Durant's Abd al-Aziz Saïfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Bentifour in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Durant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khalida Boutella to maneuver through the defense. Tawas City's Sid Harkouk got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rachid Baba Ali Zeghdoud to make the kick off. Abd al-Asis Kerkar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Durant's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Bentifour came free, but Abd al-Aziz Saïfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sid Harkouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abd al-Aziz Saïfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Bentifour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Durant's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Bentifour came free, but Abd al-Aziz Saïfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
