Grantsville FC's Abderrachid Cixous got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, Fodil Hadjadj cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Redha Sadmi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mehdi Mesbah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abderrahmane Brahami's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Redha Sadmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Hadjadj in the 27th minute of play. If Mohamed Mekhloufi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, North Rock Springs AFC's Mehdi Mesbah threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abderrahmane Brahami, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Mekhloufi got free with Mehdi Mesbah in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Redha Sadmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Hadjadj in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abderrahmane Brahami to strike the kick off in the second half. Redha Sadmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Hadjadj, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Abderrahmane Brahami struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mehdi Mesbah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Rock Springs AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boubekeur Khelaifia during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abderrahmane Brahami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodil Hadj Aïssa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mehdi Mesbah. Grantsville FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mohamed Mekhloufi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mehdi Mesbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Mekhloufi took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehdi Mesbah. Mehdi Mesbah dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Mohamed Mekhloufi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Grantsville FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Charles Medjiba hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes, North Rock Springs AFC's Lili Ahmed shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mehdi Mesbah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in North Rock Springs AFC reached it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Grantsville FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
