Cheikha Kafi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Rosini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmond Azem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes, Cheb Merah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the al thumama fc and the Brackenridge AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cheb Merah hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Brackenridge AFC's Cheikha Kafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madhi Lamine in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hemza Ali in the 31st minute of play forced Brackenridge AFC's goalkeeper Cheikha Kafi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hemza Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hemza Ali in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cheikha Kafi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdellah Medjadi Meniri to make the kick off. Alvaro Rosini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdellah Medjadi Meniri in the 52nd minute of the match. Hemza Ali struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Cheikha Kafi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for al thumama fc. After 60 minutes, Mohammad Aziz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the al thumama fc and the Brackenridge AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes al thumama fc got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Aziz. Edmond Azem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Rosini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdellah Medjadi Meniri, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind al thumama fc's goalkeeper Alvaro Rosini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Medjadi Meniri in the 94th minute of play forced al thumama fc's goalkeeper Alvaro Rosini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Rosini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmond Azem's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
