Spectators: 5060 (Terracing: 4020, Seating: 1020, VIP seats: 20) Ahuimanu's Daho Zitouni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GUNNERS's Salim El-Kenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Soltani in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ahuimanu's zone, Abdelnasser Sofiane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Said Sadaoui came out of the goal and Abdelnasser Sofiane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liamine Medjiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Said Sadaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Ahuimanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Boniche to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Rachid Soltani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salim El-Kenz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Rachid Soltani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahuimanu's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Soltani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salim El-Kenz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahuimanu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abdelnasser Sofiane 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Kamel Dahleb managed to get in a good position for a shot. GUNNERS's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Dahleb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Said Sadaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kamel Dahleb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Said Sadaoui made a huge save. Abdelnasser Sofiane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Said Sadaoui having to interfere. Said Sadaoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamel Dahleb's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Tayeb Medaci hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamel Dahleb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamel Dahleb in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Said Sadaoui saved Ahuimanu from getting behind. The supporters of Ahuimanu booed when GUNNERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadel Laref didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahuimanu's Said Sadaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelnasser Sofiane in the 81st minute of play. After 88 played minutes GUNNERS got a freekick which was hit by Fergani El Ouafi. Tayeb Medaci's late challenge caught a GUNNERS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tayeb Medaci helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Tayeb Medaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ahuimanu defense, Kamel Dahleb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Said Sadaoui. The Ahuimanu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Said Sadaoui should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that GUNNERS were the better team. GUNNERS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
