Tedj Madjer took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samir Boukensa. Samir Boukensa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tedj Madjer in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samir Boukensa saved Purvis from getting behind. When Simsbury AFC's Mouloud Benbitour in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Purvis's goalie prevented a goal. Abdulhamid Benchenaa charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdulhamid Benchenaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Simsbury AFC booed when Purvis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulhamid Benchenaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Karim Belfaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Simsbury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Mohamed to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Mohamed Mehenni managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Purvis's Karim Belfaa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mohamed Mehenni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Ali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Purvis's goal looked a bit too open when Mouloud Benbitour came free, but Samir Boukensa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Purvis getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Abdulhamid Benchenaa hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Tedj Madjer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Purvis's Samir Boukensa. Samir Boukensa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Tedj Madjer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mouloud Benbitour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Samir Boukensa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Mehenni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Belfaa in the 42nd minute. If Karim Belfaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Mouloud Benbitour made the kick off in the second half. Samir Boukensa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouloud Benbitour in the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Karim Ali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purvis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Ali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simsbury AFC's Mohamed Mehenni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Belfaa in the 58th minute of play. Mohamed Mehenni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Belfaa in the 59th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Purvis got a freekick which was hit by Abdulhamid Benchenaa. In the 65th minute, Mohammed Ahmed Hemdani sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Purvis's Samir Boukensa didn't even have to move. When Kamel Bella fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simsbury AFC's protests and gave Kamel Bella a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Simsbury AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Bella. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Ali in the 69th minute of play forced Simsbury AFC's goalkeeper Mohamed Mehenni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tedj Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Karim Belfaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purvis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simsbury AFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Purvis's zone, Tedj Madjer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Boukensa came out of the goal and Tedj Madjer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tedj Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Boukensa having to interfere. Chakib Bouzid kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Simsbury AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
