Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lakhdar Bedjaoui made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mehdi Madjer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdel Bougherra, 1-0. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Makkeb kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ahmed Raï sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdel Bougherra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chadli Zafour in the 12th minute of play. Mohammed Ahmed Ben Makkeb kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Lakhdar Bedjaoui came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Martins Ferry AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakhdar Bedjaoui couldn't finish the play. Lakhdar Bedjaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Abdel Bougherra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lakhdar Bedjaoui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdel Bougherra was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Mehdi Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Kasdi Kensi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Martins Ferry AFC's Amrani Saïdi-Sief. Amrani Saïdi-Sief was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th play minute Mehdi Madjer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abdel Bougherra. 3-1. In the 39th minute, Mehdi Madjer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdel Bougherra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakhdar Bedjaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Abdel Bougherra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lakhdar Bedjaoui went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The Martins Ferry AFC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Martins Ferry AFC's Lakhdar Bedjaoui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmed Raï was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Orchards North AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Abd el Meriem hit a great ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Lakhdar Bedjaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martins Ferry AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakhdar Bedjaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Bendjedid Hamouda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdel Bougherra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakhdar Bedjaoui in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Orchards North AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. El Abbas hit a great ball. Ahmed Yahia struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Abdel Bougherra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martins Ferry AFC. When Martins Ferry AFC's Lakhdar Bedjaoui in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orchards North AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Martins Ferry AFC's Lakhdar Bedjaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bendjedid Hamouda during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Martins Ferry AFC booed when Orchards North AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bendjedid Hamouda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Martins Ferry AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
