After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ismaïl Bougherra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canal Winchester's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismaïl Bougherra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelaziz Abdessalam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdelaziz Abdessalam acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Chakib Haddadj. Rabah Amri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Canal Winchester's Abderraouf Kacha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine Karim Belkassem in the 28th minute of play. Abderraouf Kacha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hocine Karim Belkassem, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 37 minutes of play, Oceano AFC's Hocine Karim Belkassem made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abderraouf Kacha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdelaziz Abdessalam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nasreddine Zakaria in the 41st minute. Nasreddine Zakaria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Canal Winchester booed when Oceano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lounès Tahar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rabah Amri was extremely unlucky when he, in the 50th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Canal Winchester players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oceano AFC were winning 0-1.

If Jean Brahmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
