After 8 played minutes Sabers got a freekick which was hit by Mahieddine Assad. 12 minutes into the match, New Ellenton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hocine Madouni came free, but Samir Medjoudj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12th play minutes Mimoun Ouid Hindi shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Samir Medjoudj and just under the crossbar into goal. With an all-out effort, New Ellenton FC's Albert Mezdad threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohamed Bentifour, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the match, Sabers's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Bentifour came free, but Albert Mezdad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Mezdad was a little too slow when Mohamed Bentifour got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. The supporters of Sabers booed when New Ellenton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Mhenni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, New Ellenton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fathi Mhenni came free, but Samir Medjoudj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fathi Mhenni's late challenge caught a New Ellenton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fathi Mhenni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Fathi Mhenni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabers's Albert Mezdad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Bentifour in the 31st minute of play. Edmond Dib received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albert Mezdad came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmond Dib slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Mimoun Ouid Hindi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mimoun Ouid Hindi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sabers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mimoun Ouid Hindi couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Mimoun Ouid Hindi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Bentifour was the one to do the kick off. Hocine Madouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Medjoudj having to interfere. Mohamed Mhenni hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With his leg Samir Medjoudj managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Sabers's Mimoun Ouid Hindi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 59 played minutes New Ellenton FC got a freekick which was hit by Yasmina Reda Madouni. Mimoun Ouid Hindi scored 2-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samir Medjoudj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mimoun Ouid Hindi got free with Samir Medjoudj in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 84 minutes, Rachid Chadl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Ellenton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Chadl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Sabers's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Chadl came free, but Albert Mezdad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Mezdad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Bentifour in the 92nd minute of the match. Mohamed Bentifour scored 3-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Mezdad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. New Ellenton FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
