Hameur Fadela shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Abd al-Aziz Hadj Aïssa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cherry Hills Village FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lakhdar Rahouli 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Hamid Nasro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Rafik Menad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cherry Hills Village FC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Rafik Menad. Rabah Kraouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafik Zoheir Bouzid having to interfere. Luciano Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Rafik Zoheir Bouzid skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Cherry Hills Village FC's Rafik Zoheir Bouzid got control of the ball when Abd al-Aziz Hadj Aïssa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Real Madrid's Luciano Rocha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Rafik Zoheir Bouzid was a little too slow when Rabah Kraouche got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 45th minute Fodil Morceli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Rintala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rabah Zitouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rabah Zitouni was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Cherry Hills Village FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Zenia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luciano Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodil Morceli hit a great ball. Rafik Zoheir Bouzid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rabah Kraouche in the 70th minute of play forced Cherry Hills Village FC's goalkeeper Rafik Zoheir Bouzid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Madrid made a substitution. Generoso Tartalo replaced Luciano Rocha. After a defensive mix-up in Cherry Hills Village FC's zone, Generoso Tartalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafik Zoheir Bouzid came out of the goal and Generoso Tartalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Cohen during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute Generoso Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafik Zoheir Bouzid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Generoso Tartalo sped through Cherry Hills Village FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafik Zoheir Bouzid. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Madrid fully deserved thier win.
