Kateb Iles hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Mourad Saïdi-Sief's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafik Zoheir Bouzid was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Hamid Bitat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayeb Hamdani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Tayeb Hamdani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cherry Hills Village FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, HAYK's goal looked a bit too open when Tayeb Hamdani came free, but Hamid Bitat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Tayeb Hamdani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamid Bitat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, HAYK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhat Abdenouz to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, HAYK's goal looked a bit too open when Rabah Zitouni came free, but Hamid Bitat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Rafik Zoheir Bouzid made a huge save. Rabah Zitouni scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamid Bitat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Cherry Hills Village FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rabah Zitouni hit a great ball. Tayeb Hamdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Bitat having to interfere. Hamid Bitat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayeb Hamdani, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. HAYK were furious when Abdelmalek Madjer was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 47 minutes into the game, one of HAYK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cherry Hills Village FC a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Salah Bouzid, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of HAYK's Hamid Bitat. 0-3.

The wind increased when Rabah Zitouni made the kick off in the second half. Tayeb Hamdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Bitat having to interfere. Hamid Bitat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rabah Zitouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Mourad Saïdi-Sief who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cherry Hills Village FC's Rafik Zoheir Bouzid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Hamid Bitat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rafik Zoheir Bouzid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fodil Morceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hamid Bitat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabah Zitouni in the 83rd minute of play. Cherry Hills Village FC's Rabah Zitouni got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hicham Kermali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hamid Bitat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tayeb Hamdani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 100th minute, Tayeb Hamdani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cherry Hills Village FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
