The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bellemou Chaib during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bellemou Chaib kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Chadli Badis made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gothenburg FC's Ali Mimoun. Abdel Bahari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jussef Ben Khendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Gothenburg FC's Faouzi Boutabout sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdel Bahari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faouzi Boutabout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Abdel Bahari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Saïdi-Sief during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes East Orange got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Saïdi-Sief. East Orange's Abdel Bahari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussef Ben Khendu in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Faouzi Boutabout's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdel Bahari was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. A collision led to East Orange getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ali Belkheir hit a great ball. The supporters of East Orange booed when Gothenburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamel Bouteflika didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdel Bahari was a little too slow when Faouzi Boutabout got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-3.
