Mansour Harkouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Al-Jazairia, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Djamal Akrour tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mansour Harkouk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Valley Stream:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sanfrecce Hiroshima:s goal. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Kasdi Harkouk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amar Maillot. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamal Akrour in the 30th minute of play forced Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goalkeeper Mansour Harkouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Valley Stream's Karim Diafat made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mansour Harkouk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mansour Harkouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamal Akrour, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Al-Jazairia in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmed Mazzid to make the kick off. A collision led to Valley Stream getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Abd al-Asis Belkhadem hit a great ball. Djamal Akrour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mansour Harkouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Djamal Akrour came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Valley Stream fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djamal Akrour couldn't finish the play. Karim Diafat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valley Stream's Karim Diafat got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute Djamal Akrour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamel Boudiaf kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Karim Diafat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goal looked a bit too open when Djamal Akrour came free, but Mansour Harkouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frantz Daham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Djamal Akrour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cheikha Drioueche hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Valley Stream was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mouloud Khabatou to maneuver through the defense. The Valley Stream fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Valley Stream's Karim Diafat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mansour Harkouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamal Akrour in the 88th minute of play. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamal Akrour in the 91st minute of the match. Valley Stream's Abd al-Asis Belkhadem quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cheikha Drioueche, made in the 93rd minute of the game. When Sid Ahmed Belkheir fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valley Stream's protests and gave Sid Ahmed Belkheir a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Valley Stream getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sid Ahmed Belkheir hit a great ball. If Djamal Akrour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valley Stream fully deserved thier win.
