Spectators: 7801 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mohamed Saïdi-Sief kicked off to start the match. Ahmed Mazzid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdel Bahari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Mazzid in the 14th minute of the match. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bellemou Chaib in the 16th minute of the match. Abdel Bahari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Mazzid, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tayeb Kerkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mansour Harkouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Belkheir, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th match minute, East Orange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Saïdi-Sief to maneuver through the defense. Bellemou Chaib charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bellemou Chaib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, East Orange's Bellemou Chaib got a free kick in the 29th minute. Fouad Al-Jazairia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Saïdi-Sief hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Yazid Bahari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's attentive Lakhdar Ulansi managed to snatch the ball when Noureddine Fadela made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. Lakhdar Ulansi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdel Bahari having to make a save. After 42 played minutes Sanfrecce Hiroshima got a freekick which was hit by Lakhdar Ulansi. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmed Mazzid was the one to do the kick off. Nordine Moussa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. East Orange's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ahmed Mazzid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Bahari having to interfere. In the 61st minute Ahmed Mazzid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Bahari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ali Belkheir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Mazzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Lakhdar Ulansi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chadli Badis in the 71 minute of the game. Abdel Bahari came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Ahmed Mazzid. But to his dismay, Ahmed Mazzid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noureddine Fadela during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes East Orange got a freekick which was hit by Noureddine Fadela. Bellemou Chaib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mansour Harkouk made a huge save.
