In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preston AFC's goalkeeper Belaid Zitouni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camel Bessou in the 16th minute of play forced Valley Stream's goalkeeper Amar Maillot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Preston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Djamal Akrour came free, but Belaid Zitouni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Djamal Akrour dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Belaid Zitouni, 2-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Djamal Akrour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valley Stream's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djamal Akrour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djamal Akrour was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Amar Maillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camel Bessou in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Djamal Akrour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Camel Bessou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camel Bessou in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amar Maillot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th match minute, Valley Stream was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abd al-Asis Belkhadem to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Hamid Azem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Amar Maillot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Karim Diafat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valley Stream's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Diafat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belaid Zitouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belaid Zitouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamal Akrour, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamal Akrour in the 73rd minute of play forced Preston AFC's goalkeeper Belaid Zitouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djamal Akrour might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belaid Zitouni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Djamal Akrour ran back to his position shaking his head. Belaid Zitouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamal Akrour in the 79th minute of play. Mouloud Khabatou hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Preston AFC's Belaid Zitouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamal Akrour in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Mustapha Asma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preston AFC and the Valley Stream players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Preston AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustapha Asma to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Nasreddine Larbes in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Valley Stream's Abd al-Asis Belkhadem. Preston AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
