In the 17thth minute of the game Mohamed Ben Amirouche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spanaway AFC's Rabah Lacarne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rabah Boulmerka hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Rabah Lacarne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouloud Piaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Ben Amirouche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spanaway AFC's Rabah Lacarne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouloud Piaf in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Mohamed Ben Amirouche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rabah Lacarne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Ben Amirouche in the 31st minute of play forced Spanaway AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Lacarne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rabah Lacarne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mouloud Piaf in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, West Lake Sammamish's Mouloud Piaf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rabah Lacarne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rabah Lacarne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Ben Amirouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Spanaway AFC's Abd al-Aziz Bensaïd got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Mouloud Piaf came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the West Lake Sammamish fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Piaf couldn't finish the play. West Lake Sammamish's Mohamed Ben Amirouche got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rachid Abbas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Mouloud Piaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ismaël Assad hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Ben Amirouche in the 61st minute of play forced Spanaway AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Lacarne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Spanaway AFC's Rachid Abbas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fouad Cherrad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fouad Cherrad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salim Zidane's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The supporters of West Lake Sammamish booed when Spanaway AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fadhil Zafour didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. West Lake Sammamish walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
