Abd al-Aziz Bensaïd kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Muhammad Horr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rabah Lacarne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rabah Boulmerka kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Hamid Hamdani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schertz AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Hamdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rabah Lacarne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rabah Lacarne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Horr in the 19th minute of play. Hamid Hamdani struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rabah Lacarne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schertz AFC. Hamid Hamdani scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rabah Lacarne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Schertz AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Abbas came free, but Noureddine Bouzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noureddine Bouzid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Abbas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 44 minutes, Zīn ud-Dīn Mansouri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spanaway AFC and the Schertz AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rabah Lacarne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Hamdani in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Hamid Hamdani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schertz AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Hamdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rabah Lacarne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Salim Zidane came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Spanaway AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salim Zidane couldn't finish the play. Rabah Lacarne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Hamdani in the 55th minute of play. Muhammad Horr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rabah Lacarne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salim Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Bouzid having to interfere. Muhammad Horr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rabah Lacarne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Schertz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amine Abbas. If Muhammad Horr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Horr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Rabah Lacarne made a huge save. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spanaway AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Lacarne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Salim Zidane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spanaway AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salim Zidane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Spanaway AFC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Spanaway AFC's Rachid Abbas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Salim Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
