Slimane Daham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Rachid Cherrad made a huge save. Boughera Gaouaoui hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Slimane Daham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehdi Bensaoula was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Coleman. Mohammad Madani stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rachid Cherrad. 1-0. Rachid Cherrad made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Slimane Daham sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Progress's goalkeeper Rachid Cherrad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slimane Daham. In the 29th minute Nouredine Ben Khalidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Cherrad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Noureddine Reda Madouni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rachid Cherrad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the game, Said Kerkar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rachid Cherrad. Said Kerkar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Progress's Rachid Cherrad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nouredine Ben Khalidi in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Said Kerkar in the 43rd minute of play forced Progress's goalkeeper Rachid Cherrad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rachid Cherrad made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Noureddine Reda Madouni sent off a good shot on target. Rachid Cherrad was a little too slow when Nouredine Ben Khalidi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 53rd minute, Noureddine Reda Madouni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coleman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some careless play in the Progress defense, Said Kerkar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rachid Cherrad. The Progress fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rachid Cherrad should have stopped the shot. Rachid Cherrad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Reda Madouni in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Noureddine Reda Madouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Cherrad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rachid Cherrad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Said Kerkar in the 66th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, Coleman's Slimane Daham made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rachid Cherrad was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Slimane Daham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Cherrad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Slimane Daham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Coleman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slimane Daham to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Nouredine Ben Khalidi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rachid Cherrad was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Progress's goalkeeper Rachid Cherrad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
