The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Schertz AFC booed when Immokalee AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Hasni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chadli Kheyari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasser Amara, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Hamdani in the 16th minute of play forced Immokalee AFC's goalkeeper Chadli Kheyari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Immokalee AFC's Chadli Kheyari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammad Horr in the 17th minute of play. Hamid Hamdani scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chadli Kheyari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chadli Kheyari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammad Horr in the 21st minute of play. In the 38th minute, Ahmed Aziz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Schertz AFC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Schertz AFC's Fawzi Belmellat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
